Assistant Coordinator Residential Living
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Secondary Program  
Under the general supervision of the Education Director, the Teaching Assistant assist in teaching skills to meet designated objectives within the Individual Education Plan (I.E.P) and report progress on these objectives in oral and/or written formats as prescribed by the program. They will also attend to the direct care, medical and behavioral needs of students in the residence and participate in staff development and trainings. Full-time 40 hours/week.

Assistant Director of Health Services / Nurse Practitioner

Works to ensure an integrated approach to the provision of health care in both the educational and residential settings over a 24/7 period of operation. Awake Overnight
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Secondary Program  
The Awake Overnight is responsible for remaining awake and alert at all times during the shift to perform routine checks of all students as specified in the schedule for the residence. They will also attend to the direct care, medical, and behavioral needs of the students. Program: Secondary Schedule: 16 hours/week

Development Database Manager
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Development  
We are seeking a data driven, tech savvy, collaborative team player to be our Development Database Manager--a key member of the Perkins’ fundraising team. You will be responsible for managing and administering the development donor database (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT), with an eye for maximizing fundraising and donor stewardship effectiveness. A can-do attitude, strong communication skills and competence in the following areas will be critical for success: data imports/exports, data quality and integrity, data analysis and information retrieval (creation of reports, queries, exports), and the ability to learn new software programs. You will juggle multiple deadlines and work with groups across campus including our digital marketing team on data syncing and our business office on monthly reconciliations.

Digital Content Strategist, Fundraising

Director, Annual Giving

Director, Planned Giving

Our Development Team is growing and needs an experienced, strategic, proactive, results-oriented development professional! In this newly created position reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, you will work across a portfolio of high capacity planned giving prospects and donors. You must possess a deep and accurate knowledge of all aspects of Planned Giving, including but not limited to bequests, annuities, trusts, pooled income fund, and gifts of personal property including real estate. Working closely with other members of the Development team, you will market the planned giving program; steward the Perkins Society; and field any/all questions from colleagues and donors related to Planned Giving.

Director, Total Rewards

Lead Teaching Assistant
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Secondary Program  
Secondary Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Responsibilities: • Assist in organizing, overseeing, and maintaining behavior data collection system • Review incident reports for thoroughness and accuracy of reporting as applicable • Assist with the completion of quarterly progress reports • Participate in organizing, facilitating, and tracking student specific trainings (BSP, communication, student routines, mealtime programs, etc.) • Participate in on-the-job training for new teaching assistants; provide ongoing mentorship to new TAs • Maintain learning environment (consider CVI and low vision accommodations: decreasing clutter, increasing contrast, establishment and maintenance of student leisure activity centers) • Establish the use of step by steps/task analysis, teaching strategies (fading the use prompts/cues, the use of teaching language, etc.) • Complete routine walk-throughs of cottage environment(s) and submit checklist data to cottage coordinators and/or the Supervisor of Independent Living as applicable • Obtain med clearance (upon approval from the Supervisor and Health Services) as applicable • Obtain clearances to train staff on appliance use and driving school vehicles as needed; willingness to help with field trips • Assist with shift coverage as needed; perform daily TA duties as needed (see Teaching Assistant Job Description) • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Experience teaching independent living skills to people with a range of disabilities • Experience providing on-the-job training • Experience and proven track record with data collection • Demonstrated professionalism and strong work ethic • Good attendance • Demonstrated ability to work independently • Demonstrated organizational skills • Preference will be given to staff with demonstrated proficiency with Google Drive, Salesforce, etc. • Bachelor's degree preferred (preference given to candidates interested in pursuing or already enrolled in a degree program)

Orientation And Mobility Specialist

Under the general direction of the Education Director, the O&M Specialist ?provides orientation and mobility instructional services for blind, visually impaired or multiple disability students. They will train visually impaired students to make maximum safe travel and develop functional independence in a variety of environments, while serving as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide individual educational and pre-vocational program for students.
