Assistant Coordinator Residential Living
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Deafblind Program  
Under the general supervision of the Education Director, the Teaching Assistant assist in teaching skills to meet designated objectives within the Individual Education Plan (I.E.P) and report progress on these objectives in oral and/or written formats as prescribed by the program. They will also attend to the direct care, medical and behavioral needs of students in the residence and participate in staff development and trainings. Full-time 40 hours/week.

Chief Information Officer

As our CIO, you will be responsible for leading Perkins’s culture change and the development of an information technology strategy with a focus on improving internal business systems and customer service delivery. You will provide overall program management for the business transformation, a major initiative to transition to a new ERP system, and to modernize or replace our CRM, MRP, HRIS and Student Information Systems. You will provide vision, leadership, planning and management for the development, acquisition, implementation, and support of IT services. Responsibilities will also include budget development, staffing plans, personnel supervision as well as oversight of contracted services. You will be seen as a technical expert and have the ability to provide technical advice and support to Perkins employees.

Development Officer, Institutional Giving
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Development  
As our Development Officer, you will have responsibility for managing an assigned portfolio of donors that includes foundations, corporations, and government agencies. By developing targeted strategies, you will cultivate, solicit and steward each donor to maximize revenue opportunities. As a true partner, you will work across departments to build a pipeline of corporate funders for Perkins’ work in the US, and create and implement a strategy to engage and solicit these prospects. This includes writing proposals, inquiry letters, and reports; developing all supporting materials for proposals and reports; planning donor meetings; and identifying other appropriate stewardship opportunities in coordination with senior leadership and other members of development. Identification and engagement of new prospects to secure proposal invitations, and ensure best practices in donor acknowledgement, record keeping, and grant management will be a key element of this position.

Development Operations Coordinator

Our Operations Coordinator is part of the Development and Marketing Department which is charged with raising over $10 million dollars annually in support of Perkins’ mission. Digital Accessibility Consultant

Perkins Access is growing! As a Digital Accessibility Consultant, you will be a valued contributor to Perkins Access accessibility consulting engagements delivering services related to digital strategies, usability, web standards and accessibility compliance directly to customers. Specifically, you will work with Perkins Access clients to define engagement scope, establish digital accessibility testing boundaries, conduct testing, manage the testing-results database, communicate testing results, and provide remediation guidance and training as required through the course of the engagement. Director of FP&A and Decision Support

Director, Planned Giving

Our Development Team is growing and needs an experienced, strategic, proactive, results-oriented development professional! In this newly created position reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, you will work across a portfolio of high capacity planned giving prospects and donors. You must possess a deep and accurate knowledge of all aspects of Planned Giving, including but not limited to bequests, annuities, trusts, pooled income fund, and gifts of personal property including real estate. English Language Development Teacher and Coordinator

Lead Teaching Assistant
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Secondary Program  
Secondary Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Responsibilities: • Assist in organizing, overseeing, and maintaining behavior data collection system • Review incident reports for thoroughness and accuracy of reporting as applicable • Assist with the completion of quarterly progress reports • Participate in organizing, facilitating, and tracking student specific trainings (BSP, communication, student routines, mealtime programs, etc.) • Participate in on-the-job training for new teaching assistants; provide ongoing mentorship to new TAs • Maintain learning environment (consider CVI and low vision accommodations: decreasing clutter, increasing contrast, establishment and maintenance of student leisure activity centers) • Establish the use of step by steps/task analysis, teaching strategies (fading the use prompts/cues, the use of teaching language, etc.) • Complete routine walk-throughs of cottage environment(s) and submit checklist data to cottage coordinators and/or the Supervisor of Independent Living as applicable • Obtain med clearance (upon approval from the Supervisor and Health Services) as applicable • Obtain clearances to train staff on appliance use and driving school vehicles as needed; willingness to help with field trips • Assist with shift coverage as needed; perform daily TA duties as needed (see Teaching Assistant Job Description) • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Experience teaching independent living skills to people with a range of disabilities • Experience providing on-the-job training • Experience and proven track record with data collection • Demonstrated professionalism and strong work ethic • Good attendance • Demonstrated ability to work independently • Demonstrated organizational skills • Preference will be given to staff with demonstrated proficiency with Google Drive, Salesforce, etc. • Bachelor's degree preferred (preference given to candidates interested in pursuing or already enrolled in a degree program)

Maintenance Technician

Security Administrator

Working under the direction of the Security and Safety Manager, as our Security Administrator your primary function will be to ensure controlled access for all persons entering the Howe Building and receiving / routing incoming campus calls. You will also verify proper identification of in-coming staff and communicate escort needs for all visitors, contractors, or guest. In addition, you will be posted at the front reception desk and perform a variety of administrative functions as well as security duties. Responsibilities will also include the monitoring, management and updating of the S2 Card access system.
