Accounts Payable Specialist I
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Business Office  
Under the direction of the AP Supervisor, you will be a key member of the Accounts Payable team and perform a variety of accounts payable duties in compliance with accounting practices and policies of Perkins. These duties include but are not limited to handling and processing invoices and payments, maintaining the vendor database, and responding to AP inquires in a timely fashion. You will provide outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers and work cooperatively with colleagues, budget managers, vendors, and students.

Assistant Coordinator Residential Living
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Deafblind Program  
Under the general supervision of the Education Director, the Teaching Assistant assist in teaching skills to meet designated objectives within the Individual Education Plan (I.E.P) and report progress on these objectives in oral and/or written formats as prescribed by the program. They will also attend to the direct care, medical and behavioral needs of students in the residence and participate in staff development and trainings. Full-time 40 hours/week.

Assistant Director of College Success
Location: Remote   Organization: Educational Programs  
Reporting to the Director of College Success, the assistant director will be a crucial member of the leadership team for this groundbreaking initiative. The College Success program is a national initiative to identify and address systemic barriers leading to low rates of college completion for students who learn with blindness or visual impairment. Compass: A College Success@Perkins Program, is a direct service program that supports high school students, and their educational team, who aspire to attend college, to better understand the demands of college, to learn about other post secondary options and timelines, and to develop a plan to prepare for life after high school. Through shared learning experiences, coaching, guided self-reflection and goal setting, Compass is creating solutions to low college graduation rates for these students. The Assistant Director of College Success, through program development, support and direct service, will help to implement these strategies and actions to further this national initiative. Schedule: Full-time. 40 hours/week (Weekend availability required 1x per month)

Assistant Education Director
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Lower School  
Under the general direction of the Education Director, the Assistant Education Director (AED) will assist in the design and implementation of educational services for students who are blind, visually impaired and those who have multiple disabilities. As a member of a collaborative administrative team, the AED will: facilitate and assist staff training and communication, carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with school policies and applicable laws. Interview, hire, and train employees. Address complaints and resolve problems. Conduct observations and performance appraisals. Reward as well as implement disciplinary protocols as needed. Represent the program in campus projects and committees. Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by Education Director. Program: Lower School Full-time 40 hours/week

Awake Overnight
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Secondary Program  
The Awake Overnight is responsible for remaining awake and alert at all times during the shift to perform routine checks of all students as specified in the schedule for the residence. They will also attend to the direct care, medical, and behavioral needs of the students. Program: Secondary Schedule: 16 hours/week

Chief Information Officer
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Information Technology  
As our CIO, you will be responsible for leading Perkins’s culture change and the development of an information technology strategy with a focus on improving internal business systems and customer service delivery. You will provide overall program management for the business transformation, a major initiative to transition to a new ERP system, and to modernize or replace our CRM, MRP, HRIS and Student Information Systems. You will provide vision, leadership, planning and management for the development, acquisition, implementation, and support of IT services. Responsibilities will also include budget development, staffing plans, personnel supervision as well as oversight of contracted services. You will be seen as a technical expert and have the ability to provide technical advice and support to Perkins employees.

Development Database Manager
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Development  
We are seeking a data driven, tech savvy, collaborative team player to be our Development Database Manager--a key member of the Perkins’ fundraising team. You will be responsible for managing and administering the development donor database (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT), with an eye for maximizing fundraising and donor stewardship effectiveness. A can-do attitude, strong communication skills and competence in the following areas will be critical for success: data imports/exports, data quality and integrity, data analysis and information retrieval (creation of reports, queries, exports), and the ability to learn new software programs. You will juggle multiple deadlines and work with groups across campus including our digital marketing team on data syncing and our business office on monthly reconciliations.

Development Officer, Institutional Giving
Location: Watertown, MA   Organization: Development  
As our Development Officer, you will have responsibility for managing an assigned portfolio of donors that includes foundations, corporations, and government agencies. By developing targeted strategies, you will cultivate, solicit and steward each donor to maximize revenue opportunities. As a true partner, you will work across departments to build a pipeline of corporate funders for Perkins’ work in the US, and create and implement a strategy to engage and solicit these prospects. This includes writing proposals, inquiry letters, and reports; developing all supporting materials for proposals and reports; planning donor meetings; and identifying other appropriate stewardship opportunities in coordination with senior leadership and other members of development. Identification and engagement of new prospects to secure proposal invitations, and ensure best practices in donor acknowledgement, record keeping, and grant management will be a key element of this position.

Digital Accessibility Consultant

Perkins Access is growing! As a Digital Accessibility Consultant, you will be a valued contributor to Perkins Access accessibility consulting engagements delivering services related to digital strategies, usability, web standards and accessibility compliance directly to customers. Specifically, you will work with Perkins Access clients to define engagement scope, establish digital accessibility testing boundaries, conduct testing, manage the testing-results database, communicate testing results, and provide remediation guidance and training as required through the course of the engagement. Director, Planned Giving

In this newly created position reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, you will work across a portfolio of high capacity planned giving prospects and donors. Lead Teaching Assistant
